Dear Friends of Gallatin C.A.R.E.S.:
On behalf of Gallatin C.A.R.E.S., the board and myself, I want to thank you for your continued support, through a Loving God, that allows us to serve the neediest of our community.
As Gallatin C.A.R.E.S. continues to reach out to those in Gallatin and Sumner County regardless of age, creed, gender or race, we are mindful that it takes an entire community to do so. You are an important part of a caring community who responds to the needs of those less fortunate with your goodwill and giving.
Those who come to Gallatin C.A.R.E.S. are really hungry, they are unable to pay their utility bills, rents and prescriptions. They come with any number of special needs. Most are living on limited incomes or have experienced loss of employment. Some have had an injury or medical condition that keeps them from working. While circumstances may vary, the results are always the same - families and individuals in short-term economic crisis.
Your generosity, in the past, has helped Gallatin C.A.R.E.S. make Christmas happier and less stressful for families experiencing difficult times.
Each year we need turkeys and hams for food baskets, monetary gifts to supplement our food pantry and to purchase age-appropriate gifts for children not sponsored at Christmas.
While our goal each day is to live the word of God, Christmas is a special time to bring joy and praise to good families who may otherwise only know hardship and chaos.
The entire Staff and board of Gallatin C.A.R.E.S. wish you, and the ones you love, blessings during this holy season.
If you would like to sponsor a child for Christmas. Please call us at 452-5732
Peace and Grace,
Jane A. Murray
Director of Gallatin C.A.R.E.S.
